Why we called it Rahat (راحة — comfort)
The story isn't dramatic. One summer, an AC stopped working in a family home in Al Malqa. Three companies came. The first quoted SAR 200 on the phone, then "discovered" SAR 800 worth of "extra" issues on arrival. The second arrived 3 hours late, charged a visit fee, and left without explaining anything. The third never showed up at all.
By the time the AC was fixed, three weeks had passed, four hundred riyals had been spent on visit fees alone, and the family had lost any trust in service companies.
That experience kept repeating across Riyadh — friends, neighbors, colleagues. The pattern was always the same: the work itself wasn't the problem. The way it was sold and delivered was.
